Experience "Big Five" country and in the iconic Kruger National Park and visit the third largest canyon in the world, the Blyde River Canyon. The abundance and diversity of the wildlife will amaze you. Every day spent in these iconic conservation areas hold new surprises and you can never tell what you might see next. 


Based on per person sharing, for groups of one to five persons. We travel with a maximum of five persons in a tour vehicle . Groups larger than five persons, quoted on enquiry.

Key wildlife: African Lion, African (Cape) Buffalo, African Elephant, Square-lipped (White) and Hook-lipped Rhino (Black), Leopard, Greater Kudu, Common Waterbuck, Southern Giraffe, Hippo, Sable, Burchell's Zebra and Blue (Brindled) Wildebeest.

Weather: Sub-tropical climate with hot humid summers with temperatures of up to 40°C. The winters are moderate and dry with temperatures between 22°C and 30°C.

Group size: 1 to 5. Larger groups quoted on enquiry.

Departure and finishing points: Cape Town, Johannesburg or Nelspruit airports.

Accommodation: We stay in comfortable national parks accommodation with electricity, shared ablutions, air conditioning. Twin-share or family-style units.

Vehicle: Minibus or SUV.

Meals: At main camp restaurants, but we can self-cater on request, in-which case an additional helper accompanies the tour to assist with the catering. Vegetarian options are limited at the restuarants and there are no "vegetarian specific" menus.

Typical day:

Breakfast: 05:00 - 06:00 in camp restaurant.

Morning wildlife viewing: 06:00 -10:00 these times do vary.

Down time: 10:00 – 12:00. Activities include: stretch your legs in the safety of the camp. Look at birds and resident camp mammals. Take a swim in the pool, download images and read your field guides.

Lunch: 12:00 - 13:00 in camp restaurant.

Afternoon wildlife viewing: 14:00 - 18:00 can vary.

Return to camp sunset, shower, dinner at camp restaurant, socialising and bed.

Included: Accomodation, vehicle, fuel, specialist nature guide, park fees, breakfasts, dinner, bottled water.

Not included: Domestic flights, lunches, items of a personal nature, SANPARKS night drives and walks. Your guide will meet you at your arrival point.
